 April 14

Proverbs 3:21-24

“My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight, preserve sound judgement and discretion; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble. When you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.”

When we rest at night, letting go of everything in that moment, even temporarily, and letting it go to God, can help our souls rest, allowing us to sleep. Do not be afraid of tomorrow, and have hope in the small things that persevere. God has you in His hands and will not let go, no matter what happens. For life is hard, but everything passes.
