 April 25

Psalm 5:1-3

“Listen to my words, Lord, consider my lament. Hear my cry for help, my King and my God, for to you I pray. In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.” 

It’s a simple verse that reminds us that we can reach out in prayer when we need help. We might not see the skies part and our resolution fall into our lap right then and there, but with prayer and perseverance in our actions, things will change. Sometimes it takes time and God needs us to continue our lives and make good choices in order for him to work through us. The bible usually says that he won’t answer our prayers if all we do is sit still. Have faith that things will work out for the best.
